Capital Grants

See Capital Grant Guidelines.

The Foundation supports programs and organizations that improve the quality of life for residents of the communities we serve, with a special emphasis on the needs of children, youth and families.

Program Grants

For general program grants,  we focus on funding programs that help those with highest need and/or at greatest risk, and where our funding can make a direct, measureable impact.  Our primary focus is in the city of New Britain, with a secondary focus on the city of Waterbury.

To submit a proposal for program grants, and for more information, follow our Program Grant Proposal Guidelines.

Programs that follow the academic school year

For after school programs, use our after school proposal guidelines. For other programs that follow the school year but do not meet the after-school program guideline criteria (such as in-school day and Saturday programs), use our program grant proposal guidelines. The deadline for both of these types of proposals is April 5, 2019.

The deadline for any summer youth programs is January 18, 2019. Use the program grant proposal guidelines.

Capital Grants

The Foundation also considers select proposals for capital grants.
